If you’re a Texas-resident artist working in any medium except jewelry or video, The San Antonio Art League & Museum (SAALM) is conducting a call for entry for artwork to be selected into its 92nd Annual Juried Art Exhibition.
The juror for this exhibition is art professor Leah Hardy, MFA from the University of Wyoming and the show’s opening reception is March 27, 2022.
Here's how you enter
The call for entry ends January 30, 2022, and entering is very convenient. Artists just need to upload an image of their artwork via the EntryThingy platform. More information and the complete prospectus can be found on the SAALM website.
The entry fee is $35 for SAALM members and $45 for non-members, however, non-members can join SAALM before submitting their entries and save $10 in their entry fee, with a membership valid through June 2022.
So, Texas-resident artists, show us your best work and good luck to all that enter!!
Established in 1912, SAALM is the oldest continuous arts organization in San Antonio. And in keeping with its storied tradition of recognizing some of the best art and artists in the state, there will be more than $10,000 in monetary awards and recognition available to artists selected into this Exhibition.
Beginning with the “Davis Competitions” in the late 1920’s, SAALM has been a major force in the arts community. SAALM’s juried exhibitions have featured some of the most well-known local and regional artists winning the coveted Onderdonk Purchase Prize.
